TRIBAL WARS IS FINALLY HERE!  (valve time wut?)

Anyway, Tribal Wars is a constructed format "where creature type matters".

Basically you construct a deck as you normally would, but at least 1/3 of your deck must be creatures that share a creature type.

FOR EXAMPLE: If you're playing with a 90 card Wizard deck, your deck must have at least 30 Wizard creatures in it. They can be any combination of Human Wizards, Bird Wizards, Zombie Wizards, or even Cat Wizards. As long as they're wizard creature cards you're in the clear.

Pretty much any set of cards may used aside from existing banned cards as well other cards that are specifically banned in the tribal wars format (more on that later).

So, "where the fuck am I gonna find a deck that focuses on creatures?" you may be asking yourself.

Sets that focused on creature types are Onslaught, Legions, Scourge, Lorwyn, and Morningtide (and to a lesser extent Shadowmoor and Eventide which focus more on color, but will feature creatures types from Lorwyn and Morningtide) so a good place to start for ideas might be there.

"Why bother playing? Skip is just going to use Faeries or Slivers and beat us all because he's a faggot."

Thanks, bro. I am pretty good and don't you forget it. Wink

For the purposes of Tribal Wars formatted decks, the following tribes are banned:

Faeries, Slivers, Goblins, Merfolk and Elves.

Pretty simple right? PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE BANNED CARD LIST:

Arboria
Balance
Channel
Circle of Solace
Demonic Consultation
Demonic Tutor
Engineered Plague
Flash
Imperial Seal
Mana Crypt
Necropotence
Peer Pressure
Skullclamp
Strip Mine
The Abyss
Tinker
Tolarian Academy
Tsabo's Decree
Umezawa's Jitte
Yawgmoth's Will

Let's plan to throw this thing in about 2 weeks!

You should have a Vaporizer that actually vaporizes people.  Or maybe the reverse, in that they think it's an awesome weapon, and then it just gets them high.

I don't even know who them is, actually.  Is DMS going to have a party?

If you can make a recipe system, you should be able to make pot anything.  Brownies and cookies are obvious, but also pizza, mac & cheese, nachos, pot pot, weed, etc.

Let me think on more stuff besides "lol the reefer".

Well, it's Monday - which means I'm not wearing any pants. It also means that it's about gosh-diddly-darn time to start work on the second title in my #nintendo video game series. I've thoroughly exausted the massive target that is Berube, and am moving on to a much larger target - literally - in DMS.

I get the feeling that this game is going to write itself, but can always use help or contributions.

Berube World was a spin on the Pokemon world, while DMS World will spoof off of the Zelda franchise, MM in particular. The main problem is that my only complete sprite set is for the GS era Pokemon, which is what I used in the last game. So unless someone can find me some better sprite sheets, it's...going to look like another Pokemon game. But Zelda. See?

Anyway, if you have any puns, ideas, recipes, storylines, anything to add or suggest, post it here. Current storyline involves DMS trippin balls.

A little straight talk about the sequel:

Many of you have been asking (At least 2) when the sequel is coming out, automatically assuming that I'm making one. Well, here's what I do know.

1. Don't expect one out in the next month.
2. It won't be a continuation of the current storyline.
3. Main character/hero will be DMS, as he searches for the "Bud of Time."
4. The game will be what MM was to OoT, in several ways. In the same way that Berube World took on aspect of Pokemon, the sequel will be someone Zelda themed - and MM at that. Trippiness and disorientation, it pretty much writes itself when DMS is the main character.
5. Unless someone finds me a good Zelda spritesheet, I'm going to use the same Pokemon GS era sprites for everything.
6. Luigiman will not be appearing in this game.
7. Battles will have more special moves and variations in statistics.
8. The overworld will be more linear, in order to avoid sequences being destroyed.

Christ, Kaichu, you did absolutely nothing to protect the intended sequence. I keep going places that I'm not supposed to be and I don't realize it until someone who isn't in my party yet is talking.

Not my problem if you're playing the game out of order.

Known glitches:

Paper's Yurt - The other rooms were supposed to open up, but remain unable to be entered.
What's you're missing:
Paper's Tips: Paper: Level up to increase your stats!
Win battles to gain points to level up!
Find other friends to join your party!
                          I'm a manwhore!

Paper: Learn new skills as you level up!
Use items bought and found to Equip up!

                          Paper: Buy items! Sell items!
Some items might be found in only one store or area!

                          Paper: Save often!
                          Mail Kaichu your money!
Try yogurt on your hot dogs!
The Ski Resort has a secret!

Second Floor: Paper shows you how Club Codes can be found on game shelves, but warns you not to take them without paying at the counter.
Racks with Club Codes have purple mushrooms on them, and contain power-ups.

Smilan Ski Resort (North) - The Paper can be seen in the SE path, but does nothing. He was accidentally left in there with no action.
                                                   - The whole Typo/WoW sidequest might be seriously messed up and easy, but whatever.

Bot Bay - ChanServ appears as a splatter of blood. This is unintentional.
